Our Mission

Our mission is to empower and educate our community about the importance of early detection and regular screenings for breast cancer. By organizing the Miles for Mammograms event, we aim to promote the significant benefits of early diagnosis and encourage individuals to take proactive steps towards their breast health.

Event Details

The Miles for Mammograms event will take place on September 29th, 2018. It will be held at the beautiful city of Marietta, GA. This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you prefer to walk or run, be a part of this remarkable event and make a difference in the lives of breast cancer survivors and their families.

What to Expect

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a vibrant and supportive community united by a common cause. The event will kick off with an inspiring opening ceremony, where breast cancer survivors and their loved ones will share their uplifting stories. Following the opening ceremony, participants can choose between the 1-mile walk or the 5K run, allowing everyone to participate at their own pace.

Throughout the event, there will be various checkpoints offering information about breast cancer prevention, early detection, and available support resources. You will have the opportunity to connect with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other participants who share a passion for raising awareness about breast cancer.

Registration and Fundraising

We encourage all participants to register in advance to secure their spot and pledge their commitment to the cause. Online registration will be available on our website, where you can also create a personal fundraising page to support the event. By raising funds, you contribute to providing mammograms and support services to those who cannot afford them.

There will be exciting incentives for top fundraisers, including exclusive event merchandise and recognition during the closing ceremony. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to a world free from the burden of breast cancer.
