Unitarian Universalism is a faith that embraces open-mindedness, encourages personal exploration, and honors different spiritual paths. Our belief system is grounded in seven principles that guide our commitment to creating a better world:

  2. Justice, equity, and compassion in human relations: We strive for justice, equity, and compassion in our interactions, promoting fairness and empathy in building relationships.
  3. Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth: We welcome and accept people of all backgrounds, supporting their spiritual journeys and growth.
  4. A free and responsible search for truth and meaning: We believe in the freedom to explore and seek truth, understanding that truth is a lifelong journey shaped by personal experiences and wisdom.
  5. The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process: We advocate for the right of individuals to exercise their conscience and actively engage in democratic processes.
  6. The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all: We work towards a world community that embraces peace, liberty, and justice for all, promoting interconnectedness and global harmony.
  7. Respect for the interdependent web of all existence: We recognize our interconnectedness with the web of life and strive to protect and preserve the environment for future generations.
