Who We Are
Latechurch is one of four campuses of Savannah Christian Church. We all have the same goal: to lead
people to a life-changing connection to Jesus Christ.
We felt a call in our church to be near, connected, and caring for the downtown community– the old, the
young, the college students, etc…
So, in 2004 we launched an evening service at the Savannah Theatre. After a couple years, because of
growth, we launched a morning service. In need of more space, and space for children’s ministry also, we moved into the Lucas Theater in 2008.
Here’s some good things to know about us:
- We will help you any way we can, just ask.
- If you haven’t been to church or are nervous about coming, you can sneak in the back at latechurch and check it out! Then sneak out if you want to leave! How great is that?
- We’re trying to live our lives with the compassion and power of God. That means we’re involved in serving here in our community, around the world, and of course in each other’s lives. It also means that Jesus has changed our lives.
